What Botsket does with personal data on this site and in the emails we send to stores.
Who is responsible

This website
No cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. Our web server keeps no access log, so we do not record your IP address when you read this site.
If we emailed your store
We test publicly reachable online stores the way an AI shopping agent would and write to a store when something on its buying path stops these agents.
- What we hold: the store's domain, the contact email address the store publishes on its own website, a name if the address or a reply contains one, our test results for the store, and our correspondence.
- Where it came from: the store's public website (home, contact or about page).
- Why, and on what basis: to offer our service to the business. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in direct marketing to businesses (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- How long: until you ask us to stop, or 12 months after our last exchange, whichever comes first. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your address and the date on a do-not-contact list, so that we never write again.
Reply "stop" to any of our emails, or write to the address above, and you will not hear from us again.
If you become a customer
We use what we need to deliver the service and to invoice it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Invoices and accounting records are kept as long as Czech tax and accounting law requires, up to ten years.
Who else handles the data
Google processes our email (Google Workspace) and Oracle hosts our server in Germany, both under their data processing terms. Google may process data outside the EU under the safeguards in those terms. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.
Your rights
You can object to our emails at any time, and we will stop. You can also ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or for its use to be restricted, by writing to hello@botsket.com. You can complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
